Transport System Bögl convinces visitors from home: On November 5th, the Bavarian Construction Industry Association visited the construction site of the TSB demonstration track in China to gain an insight into the future-oriented construction project. The project of the innovative transport system for urban public transport is currently in the commissioning phase and will be completed at the beginning of next year.
After the arrival of the Bavarian Association in Chengdu, Xiao Guanghui, Vice President of the Chinese partner company Xinzhu, welcomed the German visitors and together with Yang Yonglin, CEO of Xinzhu and Johann Bögl, shareholder of the Max Bögl group, reported on the German-Chinese cooperation and the implementation of the joint project. After a short project overview, the guests visited the TSB demonstration track and the prototype vehicle. From the assembly to the setting of the guideway segments on the construction site, the German guests were able to experience all the assembly processes onsite. They were able to get their own impression of the advantages of the TSB, which can be traced back to the serially manufactured track as well as to the magnetic levitation technology.
The 3.5 km long demonstration track of the TSB stretches over the premises of the partner company Xinzhu and demonstrates the variable track of the system using flexible routing options. The prototype vehicle has already completed 125,000 shuttle runs in the development process in Germany and is now ready for commissioning in Chengdu. After the completion, the demonstration track will be used to market the Transport System Bögl on the Chinese market and further projects will be focused together with the partner company Xinzhu.
